Job Description

Reporting to the company president, the Controller directs the financial activities of this multi-faceted manufacturing organization.

Job Responsibilities

- Work with CEO / President to establish corporate strategies, objective and policies. - Weekly ‘flash’ report to include margin, inventory and expense analyses - Forecasting / projecting of finished goods, supplies and components - Integral role in production scheduling - Budget and gap analysis for monthly, quarterly and annual reports - Provides management with timely reviews of progress on projects and activities - Utilizes tax code knowledge to advise on operational adjustments, depreciation rates, etc. - Preparation of all reports required by regulatory agencies - Management of A/R and A/P via supervision of accounting personnel

Job Requisites (Education/Experience)

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required - CPA / CMA required - 3+ years cost accounting in a manufacturing environment - Excellent analytical skills - Demonstrated track record of successful efficiency, control and expense reduction measures. - Strong personnel management skills - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Must be available for seasonal workload
